Home Safety Assessments

S.L.I.P. – Seniors Living In Place:  We conduct home safety assessments to implement safety measures to help prevent injuries and safe lives.  We focus on fall, fire, and medical safety.

Fall Safety: We provide a personal emergency response system, commonly referred to as a “life alert” button or medical alert button.  There is no monthly cost and all of our buttons are provided free of cost.

Fire Safety: We partner with the American Red Cross and Local Fire Departments to ensure homes are equipped with working smoke alarms, stove top fire extinguishers, and home are clearly marked with address signs for EMS and Fire Departments to easily find your home.

Medical Safety: We help you complete the “Vial of Life” which is a document you keep on your refrigerator for emergency responders to have your pertinent health information in the event of a medical emergency.  This is a program in partnership with Union County EMS.
