We depend on generous people to support our programs!

All donations are used to provide services to older adults in Union County, North Carolina. There are many ways your donations are making a difference. Programs supported at least in part by donations are: In-Home Services to 230+ of our older neighbors, SHIIP Medicare counseling, Family Caregiver Support Services, and our Next Door Group Respite Program, and free incontinence supplies and equipment. Council on Aging has been providing support for older adults in Union County for over 50 years, and we hope to continue to do so for many years to come!

Planned Giving

Estate Planning

Leave a bequest, or a planned gift, to the Union County Council on Aging in your Will or Trust.  Planned giving can demonstrate to your heirs and beneficiaries the values you held most dear.

Retirement Planning

Maximize tax-deferred savings, and leave a lasting legacy, by naming Council on Aging in Union County as the beneficiary of some or all of your personal retirement plan.

Life Insurance Designation

Designate Council on Aging  as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy that is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was initially purchased. For more details, contact our office for a legal referral.

After communicating these options with your attorney, please send all Statements of Intent to bequeath a future gift to Council on Aging in Union County at P.O. Box 185, Monroe, NC 28111.
