Next Door Group Respite Program

Now Accepting New Participants

Council on Aging is now offering a new service to residents of Union County. The Next Door Group Respite Program is an opportunity for people with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of memory loss to engage in meaningful social and recreational activities to maximize their cognitive and social abilities, while providing relief and support to family caregivers. Group Respite is a cost-effective, social model of care to help families keep their loved one living at home but giving the caregiver time to have a break from their responsibilities or to take care of other needs.
