Next Door Group Respite Program

The Next Door Group Respite Program is an opportunity for individuals with memory loss to engage in meaningful social and recreational activities to maximize their cognitive and social abilities–while also providing relief and support to family caregivers. Group Respite is a cost-effective, social model of care to help families keep their loved ones living at home, while giving the caregiver much needed time for other tasks.

For more information on our Next Door Group Respite Program, or to see if your loved one would be a good fit for our day program, contact our Family Caregiver Support Specialist, Susan Rush, at (704)-292-1797. Or, send Susan and email at rush@coaunion.org

If you would like to volunteer with our Next Door Group Respite Program, please contact Council on Aging in Union County at (704)-292-1797 to our Volunteer Services Coordinator about all of the volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, even corporate teams!
