Eating Healthy and Food Safety Program – Marshville

Hayley Napier, Family and Consumer Sciences Agent with NC Cooperative Extension, will be giving tips on how to eat healthy without breaking your budget! Hayley will share helpful hints to be sure you’re practicing safe food prep practices in the kitchen.  Join us to find out if you are practicing safe kitchen habits when cooking for your friends and families.

 

Hayley Napier is the Family & Consumer Sciences Agent with the Union County Cooperative Extension Service. She has her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Sciences, a Graduate Certificate in Family Life & Parent Education, and a Master’s Degree in Youth, Family & Community Sciences all from North Carolina State University.  She began her professional career in April 2011 as the FCS Agent with North Carolina Cooperative Extension in Montgomery County. Her focus as an extension agent is to educate the community in the areas of health and nutrition, food safety and food preservation.

 

Everyone is welcome to attend this program. There is no cost and registration is not required.  There will be an optional lunch for $2 after the program.
